Help me tank!

[:1]I cannot hold aggro at all... =/ I have about 9 gold, and this is my only account now.
I'm pretty nooby as a tank, and I would appreciate any advice the dks of this forum would give. Feel free to look at my gear and give me constructive criticism.

At lvl 58. Your good. Just Q up. (Choose the Sheild)
at 58 (im assuming your running blackrock and hellfire peninsula), you don't necessarily have all the tools available to an 85 DK, but there are some basics that will really come in handy. make sure your in blood spec.

gold doesn't matter...they gear you have is raid tier quality for the level. i tanked with most my beginner set up through 65 or so. sub in any plate gear that has tanking stats on it (a few pieces from hellfire ramps come to mind). just switch em as you get em.

basic routine (this should be your standard for most pulls unless your taxed on runes):

1) death and decay - try to place it where you think you'll want to be tanking the mobs. if you drop it right on them, they'll probably run out of it as they head to you. I like about halfway inbetween, closer to the mobs if necessary. play with placement a bit, it's really an art form.
2) diseases - they're whimpy as blood (you are blood spec, right?), but every little bit helps.
3) Pestilence - to spread the diseases on all the mobs
4) Spam blood Boil a few times
4) cycle blood boil and death strike. substitute heart strike for blood boil if you have 3 or less mobs to control.

them thars the basics man. doing that should carry your through most of outlands and northrend dungeons. the rules change a bit post 80, but in that case that's what the stickies at the top of this forum are for. read them. the whole thing. if you want mroe details then what i posted here, read the stickied guide for tanking.
